Texas Children’s Provider Portal Now Accessible to Out-of-Network Providers

Attention: Out of Network Providers

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) is excited to announce that out-of-network providers can now request access our provider portal, Texas Children’s®Link to review and download Electronic Remittance Advice (aka Explanation of Payments/Explanation of Billing). These users will ONLY be allowed to review ERA.

Steps for requesting access: 

  1. Visit https://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/providers/link-provider-portal
  2. Click “Access Texas Children’s Link”
  3. Click “Request New Account” button towards the bottom left hand side of the screen and complete the request form.
  4. Utilize the Non-Clinical profile account and make sure to select Yes for the question “Are you requesting the ability to review remittance advice, member eligibility, or review and submit claims and prior authorizations for Texas Children’s Health Plan?”
  5. If you are a third party biller, please enter the site information within the request form for the group you represent.

It will take approximately 5 business days for TCHP to review and approve your request. You will receive two secure emails when your account is ready with your username and your password.
