Transportation Services

Description:

Texas Children’s Health Plan offers members transportation services at no cost to medical visits, the pharmacy, and classes or events sponsored by the health plan.

How do I claim my extra benefit?

Call MTM at 346-232-4130 or toll-free at 888-401-0170 to schedule a ride at no cost. Learn more at Transportation Assistance.

Who is eligible?

CHIP members are eligible for transportation services at no cost to medical visits, the pharmacy, and classes or events sponsored by the health plan.

STAR, and STAR Kids members are eligible for transportation services at no cost to classes or events sponsored by the health plan. Rides to medical visits and the pharmacy are already covered by the health plan.

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris, Jefferson, and Northeast service areas.
