Texas Children’s Health Plan Highlights Behavioral Health Awareness Month

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) is highlighting May as Behavioral Health Awareness Month and offering a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course: Advancing Mental and Behavioral Health in Primary Care: Strategies for Diagnosis, Treatment, and Coordination, to commemorate this occasion.

Providers are encouraged to attend the upcoming CME on May 16th by registering here and check out the Texas Health Steps Courses offered by HHS, and the previously recorded CME, Opioid Use Disorder in Pregnancy- Screening, intervention and referral. Providers should implement learned practices to applicable patients for improved health outcomes.
