Recognizing Adolescents Struggling with Mental Health
During this course, providers will gain various tools and resources that will help recognize and analyze mental health struggles in adolescent patients, while also ensuring that they receive the best care.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of the lecture, the participants should be better able to:
Recognize adolescents with depression and suicidality.
Formulate comprehensive management plans, including pharmacologic intervention.
Identify risk behaviors that impact adolescent behavioral health.
Discuss the impact of social determinants of health (SDOH) on adolescent behavioral health. (BH).
