Transportation UpdateActualización de transporte
Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Change in Preferred Drug List (PDL) Status for Generic Sildenafil Oral Suspension

Call to action: Effective September 25, 2024, the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) removed non-preferred status from generic sildenafil oral suspension This is in response to the discontinuation of brand Revatio suspension by the manufacturer.
The preferred status of the brand name Revatio oral suspension will not change to allow any current stock to be used.
Next step for Providers: Prescribers are encouraged to proactively obtain a prescription for the preferred alternatives to avoid disruption in patient’s therapy. Prescribers should share this communication with their staff.
