Payment Rates for Financial Management Services Agencies Effective September 1, 2022

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) approved payment rates for Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSA) to be effective September 1, 2022. HHSC reviewed FMSA payment rates and methodology as part of the fiscal year 2022 biennial fee review. The approved FMSA payment rates, effective September 1, 2022, can be accessed at: https://pfd.hhs.texas.gov/long-term-services-supportsHow this impacts providers: Providers billing the following three bill codes will need to update their service authorizations to reflect the rate increase:
