Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Online Authorization Platform is Able to Accept Additional Clinical Information 

Date: April 8, 2021 Attention: All Providers Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event.  TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event. Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform network providers that utilize our online authorization platform; Health Trio that this platform is now accepting additional clinical information once a prior authorization request is sent.  Please click here for the steps to add clinical information to an existing prior authorization request. With the edit function, providers will be able to update their contact information as well as add additional documentation. How this impacts providers: A reminder about sending authorization requests via Health Trio:
