Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

Member Experience Survey Coming Soon

Attention: All Providers

Effective Date: August 2023

Call to action: Texas Children Health Plan (TCHP) would like to let providers know that later this month your patients may be given a member experience survey. The survey will include questions in regards to, but not limited to, communication, care coordination and access to care. Participation in this survey is voluntary.

How this impacts providers: Members’ responses will help create effective, active interventions where we hope to partner with you and better the health of Texas Children’s Health Plan members. We thank you in advance for your collaboration.

Next step for Providers: Providers are encouraged to share this communication with their patients.
