Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan would like to notify providers that Health and Human Service Commission (HHSC) contract for the current Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) vendor systems (AuthentiCare and Vesta EVV) is scheduled to expire on August 31, 2023.

On April 26, 2022, HHSC posted a competitive solicitation on the Electronic State Business Daily for EVV System Management Services. Contractor responsibilities will include:
Providing and managing a single EVV vendor system
Review and approval of provider-operated EVV proprietary systems
Coordinating EVV system integration with the EVV aggregator
Providing operational and technical support for the functions listed above
