SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Uniform Hospital Rate Increase Program (UHRIP)

Attn: STAR HOSPITAL SERVICES RE: Uniform Hospital Rate Increase Program (UHRIP) Dear Provider, The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has received approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to implement the Uniform Hospital Rate Increase Program (UHRIP) for hospital services effective March 1, 2018 for Harris and Jefferson Service Delivery Areas (SDAs).  State-owned hospitals and institutions for mental diseases are excluded from the program. Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) will be sending a Letter of Agreement to all eligible hospitals that will outline the program and its administration.  Please be sure to sign this Letter of Agreement and return to TCHP immediately in order to have the rate applied upon program initiation.
