Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

CHIP Co-Payments

Attention: All Texas Children’s Health Plan ProvidersSubject: CHIP- Co-Payments On Thursday, August 31, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the state's request to waive Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) co-payments for members with a permanent address in one of the Hurricane Harvey Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared disaster counties. FEMA-declared disaster counties for Hurricane Harvey may be accessed here: https://www.fema.gov/disaster/4332. Co-payments are waived for services provided August 25, 2017 through November 30, 2017. Therefore, providers must not require or collect co-payments for CHIP members living in or displaced from a Hurricane Harvey FEMA-declared disaster county. Providers should contact the Provider Line at 1-800-645-7164 for updated co-payment information.
